David Hockney

1. David Hockney was born in 1937 in Bradford, UK
2. He is most famous for his POP art and photographic collages
3. He created "The Diploma" after being told he wouldn't graduate art school
4. He eventually moved to California where he purchased two houses and got inspiration from his in ground pool
5. In the 1980's, he vegan creating photographic collages which is taking multiple photos at different angles and then putting them together to make a bigger picture
6. I like Hockney's photographic collages because I like how he pieced it together like a puzzle and rearranged everything from its original state.
7. A negative that I see in taking photos this way is coming up with something creative that your audience might not like or understand. Also getting confused where and how to place the pictures and form a collage.
8. I think using your phone for something like this is easy and hard it depends on what you prefer to use. The would be quick and easy because you just snap the pictures and then put it through some editing app and that could end badly because you wouldn't get a high quality photo. I think using a camera would be better for something like this because you have to take your time.
9. A subject for the Hockney inspired collage would be a model and then have pops of color wether it be makeup or clothes.

2. Our theme is retro/pop culture. We will be using a variety of stickers, sunglasses, the makeup will have variety of bright colors, they will have outfits that pop as well.
